I only see Vista as the operating system of choice because it was "the most recent" when this website was last updated. Are they going to update that with Windows 7?

Yes, I think that the adding Windows 7 would be a better option.
Windows Vista had a couple of fatal errors and this came to light very soon after its release, 
that's the reason that Windows 7 was launched at a short interval just after the release of Vista.
