Workstation PC
Introduction
A workstation PC is used for professional content creation. This type of use can be split into two types, 2D and 3D. 2D work will require significantly less power than a full blown 3D workstation. Both require reliable operation and storage, but the 3D machine requires far more powerful graphics card and more memory. Also a high end quad core processor is required for processor intensive tasks such as rendering.
Although aimed at each type of machine, both examples here will be able to run both 2D and 3D software, but the 3D machine will just be a lot more powerful when it comes to 3D content creation.
